Studebaker Champion

This 1953 Studebaker Champion Starlight model sports a sky blue, maybe a Tiffany blue or robin egg blue, body color.

This is the fourth generation of the Champion model series.  It features a streamlined shape designed by Robert E. Bourke; he was with the Raymond Loewy studios at South Bend, Indiana.

Two mops at the back door

Two mops have been hang out to dry at the corner of the building where the delivery truck missed the turn and hit the building, damaging some of the cinder blocks; those have since been replaced but have not been painted.

Muddy tracks

Slightly dry mud is an ideal medium for recording cat paw prints - raccoon tracks, too.

Those calling cards are at the bottom of a hole that is two and one half feet deep.

Spades and horseshoe

Mill bastard and two spades 

An Arcade mill bastard file and a 3/4 inch and a 13/16 inch spade bit await their work assignments.  Both spade bits are marked with their respective sizes.  Each has a cable hole in the blade.  The other parts are the center point, the two spurs, the two lips, and the shank.  The lips do the majority of the cutting, removing material from the bottom of the hole.  The spurs cut the circle and make for a neat hole.  The cable hole is used to attach a cable that can then be pulled back through the bored out hole.  The hexagonal shank ensures a strong grip that withstands drill torque.
