Covering up graffiti with paint produces its own art.  A good surface prep is usually needed unless the peeling effect is desired.  Color matching is not necessary if the paint itself is applied neatly.

The graffiti on this metal roll-up gate was covered over with silver paint.  The result looks like a bar graph.

This new security door was installed on the garage a few days earlier.  In this relaxed view 3d photograph, the still shiny metal reflects what is across the street.
