Up in the air


The engineer was very careful when parking this Budd car on a siding in the rail yard - the tracks end in mid air!

This sudden ending scene is presented as a relaxed view 3d stereograph.

    Nice photo...the 3D effect on the 2 rails sticking out is especially cool.

      They put a stop barrier there soon after that photo was taken. That is now a unique view in time.

    I am glad that you liked the 3D effect of the rails. With the stereographs, I do not know until post how what I took will turn out - good or not. Some pairs that seemed like they should be great turn out poorly; others are better than I imagined.

    If any readers have any good stereo / 3D photo tips, feel free to share them?
