Looks ominous but not

Hot day clouds make a break as they approach cooler bay waters. They passed-by with sustained peals of thunder and heat lightning but very little rain.

The windows on this former dairy barn provided light and air.  That they are mismatched never seemed to bother the cows.

 

Smoke gets in your sun

Five minutes before sun hide

Smoke from the forest fires twenty six hundred miles away reaches our shores.  Five minutes later, the pall in the western sky hid the setting sun.

The top of a distant storm cloud gets blown away by high level winds.
