Foggy fireworks

Fireworks will usually be fired even if the weather may not be exactly perfectly clear.  These aerial shells were lifted high enough to go off in the low level clouds.

A funnel weaver spider lives here

The fog droplets on these funnels webs make them stand out from the green of the evergreen bushes.  This type of spider web is spun by Agelenidae (funnel-weaver) spiders.  They generally stay in their tunnel  during the day.  There are over 600 species of these spinsters.  The specific species of this spinner is not identified; its work is enjoyed.
