That tree in the background looks like it is casting the shadow seen in the mid-foreground of the pile. The stones seem to echo the profile of the pile. The linearity of beam (on the right) is a nice intrusion on the curves of the rest of the image. Good eye, and, nicely taken!
Are you sure that is not an art installation? It sure looks it!
