N.B., both this two door beauty, and the restaurant, are gone. The car - sold? the eatery - renamed?
This car was styled by an independent design consultancy led by George Walker; rather than doing the designs himself, he selected from the designs developed by the team and presented those to Ford. Their first design appeared as the 1949 model year. That included the "spinner" front grille and FORD letters across the front hood. For the 1950 model year, the FORD letters, which would come loose, were replaced by the crest (coat of arms),
