Sunlit trash

Empty storefront in 3d

The sunlight streaming through the window highlights the trash left behind in the "broom clean" empty storefront shown in this 3d relaxed view stereogram.

  1. How does the 3D effect work? Do I need special glasses?

    1. Click on the image to see a bigger version of it. Then, the hard part - unfocus your eyes, and as you unfocus, you should see the two images start to overlap in the middle. Once they overlap, you should see the 3D effect. I make it sound easy, because that is what I am used to. It is like looking at stereogram cards.

i like the relaxed view 3D. Here are some links for how to view them:

http://home.clara.net/carefuleyes/110917viewing.html and read the "VIEWING “RELAXED-EYE” STEREO-PAIRS" section

      http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/people/ian.collier/3d/stereo.html Wide-eyed stereo-pair images

I hope this helps? A little?

    2. Oh,yes - once you have unfocused and are seeing the overlapped image, you may have to tilt your head little to get the two images to overlap exactly.
