This logging truck proved to be a good candidate for a stereogram.  It is carrying logs that have been cut in the US and taking them north to Canada.

Belt of Venus

Full moon rising through the Belt of Venus

For whatever reason, there was a spectacular Belt of Venus that evening.  Having a golden orange full moon rising through it was just sheer deluxe!  

Best of all, the image is very close to what that scene looked like in person.  What you see here is what I saw there.

A ding in an elevator door provides fuel for some photo editing exercises.

Reflection illuminated fence and shadow

The reflection of the sun from a window across the street illuminated this one small section of the fence - making for a seemingly perfect and irresistible setup for a relaxed view 3d photo.  The curved wall of the building adds to the 3d effect.

The fig "plant" had some nice fall foliage in 2015.  It was surprising to see that it was as colorful as it was.  Looking down at the leaves shows off the different sizes and color patterns.

It is a "plant" because it is still in a big pot, waiting to grow bigger and hardier so it can be planted outside.

Although worn down, the date in the middle is 1915.  The business is still in business, now a concrete corporation.  The result of their labors lives on.
