An automatic sprinkler fire department connection has been installed next to the existing vent and outside water hose connection.   The connection allows the fire department to supply additional water and / or pressure to the building sprinkler system.

This outdoor water faucet is on the side of an electrical substation building.  Although neither is actively used, this faucet would  have provided a connection for a hose that could be used to wash down the sidewalk.

This outdoor water faucet is on the side of a building at the abandoned dock.  The sunlight-cast shadow, the faucet, and the cinder blocks create a pleasing variety of shapes and colors.
