When the parking lot was repaved, it included repainting the lamp post bases yellow.  

 

In the past, that would have been done using a paint brush.  Today, it is done with a sprayer.  Where there once were paint drips, now there is overspray.

Guide lines

Guide lines placed in the freshly coated parking lot indicate where parking space and pavement markers are to be placed.

The NO PARKING marker is painted using a stencil.

The guidelines will eventually not be visible but the pavement markers will remain in the parking lot beneath our feet.
