Lined and ready

After the street is paved, lines are laid out and then spray painted.  These striping marks  then await the arrival of the stripers, who will put in the crosswalk and stop lines.

The wheelchair access curb cutout in the street beneath our feet reveals the cross section of the metal curb edging that has been brightly polished by foot traffic.
