A note for Mom

Book marks, receipts, postcards and other paper ephemera are sometimes found in books being re-sold.  Those come out; the more interesting items get a post.  This note is no exception:

front of mom love
Dear Mom, I love you, Oh yes, it's true, I love you.

Wonderfully expressive, artful, and, it rhymes, too!

This note was found inside the book "NeuroTribes" by Steve Silberman.   The subtitle of this book is "The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity".

For the completists, this is the back of the note:

the back of the note

The note paper is thin; the front missive bleeds through when the back is scanned.

  1. Finding that poem and drawing in that book makes you wonder if it was put in there randomly, or, if the person who made that fit the spectrum(s) described in the book?

  2. Looking for and finding what has been left behind in books is so interesting; sometimes it is a surprise, sometimes a mystery.

  3. The artwork is pretty good, too!
