It is reassuring to find a "passed inspection" slip of paper in the back pocket of a pair of pants. Thank you, Inspector 57, for your diligence!
A different pair of pants - the same size, but a different color - also have an inspection tag from Inspector 57 in the button-closed right rear pocket:
Inspector 57 must be the specialist on this size of pants - they can be any color, as long as they are this size.
A closer inspection of the two inspection paper slips reveals that something is awry.
On the first inspection paper, the text says "Inspector:57". That should have a space: "Inspector: 57". Or, no colon, as in "Inspector 57".
On the second inspection paper, a space has been inserted to now say "Inspector: 57". However, the item inspected is now called a "porduct", as opposed to "product" on the first inspection slip.
Inspector 57 may be doing a great job, but the inspector of the inspection paper slips is slipping up.
I have not seen one of those in a while. It is good to know that clothes inspections are back on.
