AC Drain (Part 2)

Ingrown drain

A plant grows out of a drain located in the sidewalk.  This drain was without plant a year ago.

 One year later, with the sidewalk was updated, the charm of this drain is in vain.

    That looks like houseplant or a bouquet, and not 'something' growing in the wild.

    So is that plant growing because there is no drip, or because no one pulled it out, or?
